Holy Name Society on Thursday, September 16, 2021
A Chapter of the Holy Name Society was founded at Immaculate Conception Church in 1926 and once formed an important element within the life of the parish in the spiritual lives of the men of ICC.
The Confraternity of the Most Holy Names of God and Jesus (Holy Name Society) promotes reverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and the personal sanctification and holiness of its members.
The ICC Holy Name Society is open to all men of the parish who are 25 and older. It will normally meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, but this first, "re-foundation meeting", will take place September 16, 2021. The evening will include:
6:00 - 7:00 pm Adoration and Confessions 7:00 - 7:45 pm Spiritual talk on the history and aims of the Holy Name Society
7:45 - 9:00 pm meal and conviviality
