Fr. Kiefer, FSSP, Given a New Assignment

Fr. Joel Kiefer, FSSP, has received a new assignment from the Fraternity of St. Peter to Scranton, Pennsylvania. He will be departing on the Wednesday of Easter Week. Fr. Kiefer will be working mainly at the retreat center of the Fraternity there as well as helping out at the many FSSP parishes in the area.

Father will be deeply missed at ICC, whether it be for his stirring sermons at the 1:00 pm Mass or for all that he has contributed to the community life for the priests and deacons here. Even more importantly, he has offered up much of his sufferings with poor health and many of his private Masses for the Latin Mass, the Fraternity and particularly for the faithful of ICC. For this we are ever indebted to him and wish him all of God's graces!
