Angelic Warfare Confraternity

In the bulletin the last few weeks there has been an announcement about reactivating the Angelic Warfare Confraternity at ICC. We will be praying the Chaplet of the Confraternity each final Thursday of the month in order to encourage those who have enrolled in the Confraternity and we will offer an enrollment for new members on the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, September 29.

You may be asking: ICC already has a large number of groups and devotions, so why add one more?

The answer is that because our society places no value in purity and many within society even actively strive to destroy innocence, a Confraternity established to help us maintain purity has a singular importance for us individually and for those that we are responsible for today..

It is true that one can over-commit and belong to too many groups, but we would ask each parishioner who has been confirmed to at least read through the information regarding the Confraternity and give it serious consideration. Pamphlets can be found in the back of the church or o on the Confraternity website.

One does not need to be a member to pray the chaplet, which can be a great aid in the midst of our own temptation or that of others:
