The
Confraternity of St. Peter was founded by the Priestly Fraternity of
St. Peter on February 22nd, 2007 as a society of associate members of
the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.
Among
the ranks of the Confraternity there are priests, religious and laymen
from all walks of life and many different vocations who desire to unite
themselves to the work that the Fraternity does -- making available the
Sacred Tradition of the Catholic Church and increasing devotion to the
Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This is done by fulfilling the simple
commitments that the Confraternity asks of its members as deliniated in
the Charter of the Confraternity.
Additionally,
a spiritual magazine, evenings of recollection, missions and
pilgrimages are made available to members to help them grow in the
spirituality of the Fraternity and increase their love and devotion to
Sacred Tradition and the Holy Mass.
Immaculate
Conception Church is home to one of the largest chapters of the
Confraternity of St. Peter worldwide. Locally, our members are
especially active in the weekly cleaning and maintenance of the Church,
repairing and making the sacred vestments used in the Mass and
supporting the Fraternity priests in a variety of ways. Recently, our
chapter had one of the first Confraternity evenings of recollection,
preached by the Confraternity Chaplain for North America, Father James
Fryar.
Membership
in the Confraternity is open to all. If you are interested in more
